De Kinderkei

Welcome to De Kinderkei at Keiweg 2 in Wolvega, where we have been providing loving and professional daycare for children aged 0 to 4 since 2010. Our facility is set in a charming building with a spacious, green garden and is organised into four horizontal groups, ensuring every child enjoys age-appropriate activities and rest that match their developmental stage. Our youngest guests begin in De Guppies (0–1.3 yrs), then move on to De Beren (1.3–2.3 yrs), De Kikkers & Tijgers (2.3–3.3 yrs) and finally De Draken (3.4–4 yrs). Each group follows the educational Piramide programme, which stimulates development through playful themes such as ‘My Body’, ‘Animals in Nature’ or ‘Construction Site’. For our oldest toddlers we run a special 3+ group that focuses on pre-school activities, ensuring a smooth transition to primary school. Outdoor play is essential to us. Whenever the weather allows, we spend time in our large garden or visit our own indoor play paradise, the Kinderkei-Jungle. We believe outdoor play offers relaxation, boosts motor skills and helps children unwind. Flexibility is one of our strengths. In addition to regular hours (7:30 am–6:00 pm) we offer early care from 7:00 am and extended care until 6:30 pm. We are happy to discuss tailor-made solutions so that childcare fits seamlessly with your needs.
