De Kikkerkoning Valburg

Welcome to De Kikkerkoning Valburg – location De Duinen, situated within St. Jacobus primary school in the heart of Valburg. We are part of De Kikkerkoning Childcare, a warm organization providing daycare and after-school care in Elst and Valburg. At our Valburg location, we lovingly and professionally care for children aged 0 to 4 in a homely and safe environment. At De Duinen we work with three clear groups: baby group Hermelijn for the youngest from 2 months, toddler group De Vos for children aged 2 to 4, and an after-school group De Kust for school-age children. Our baby and toddler groups are horizontally structured, with children grouped by age. This provides calm, structure and development tailored to each stage. For children with an early childhood education indication, we offer pre-school education four mornings a week in the toddler group, ensuring they are well prepared for primary school. We believe it is important that children feel safe and secure. Our pedagogical staff create a warm atmosphere where children can play, discover and be who they are. We work with hands, heart and head: we offer challenging activities, regularly go on outings with the push-car to the playground or the village, and devote lots of attention to outdoor play. Everything is aimed at stimulating each child’s development at their own pace. Parents don’t need to worry about practical matters: nappies (Pampers), food, drinks, snacks and even excursions are included with us.
