De Keyzerskroon

Welcome to De Keyzerskroon, our daycare center in the Randstad district of Almere Stad. We provide care for children from 0 to 4 years old according to the Montessori vision. Our goal is to let children discover the world themselves and take on challenges. We motivate children to develop themselves at their own pace. Our location is spacious and consists of two floors. We have a large outdoor area where children can play, with an outdoor play kitchen, sandbox, parking spaces and vegetable garden boxes. We regularly go to the nearby park with lots of greenery and use the playground of Montessori Stad, which has plenty of play space. For our daycare center, we use a special group structure to create as natural a family situation as possible. During the day, children of different ages meet each other. Children experience themselves in different relationships to other children and develop a sense of different positions within the daycare - from the youngest to middle and eventually the oldest. We offer a varied program with activities such as making music, crafts, cooking and baking. Playing outside in the forest and sports activities are also part of the program. We work with the Konnect app, through which parents receive photos and reports of their child and have digital access to placements and invoices. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. We value parent involvement and regularly organize parent meetings and information evenings.
