De Kameleon

Welcome to Partou BSO De Kameleon at Teunisbloemlaan 42 in Vleuten. We are located in the De Weide Wereld integrated community school, right in the Vleuterweide district, and provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. From July 2026 we will officially return to this fully renovated building, where our BSO and the day-care centre will continue to share one roof. As soon as the school bell rings our qualified staff are ready to collect children from OBS Vleuterweide, Basisschool De Fonkeling, P.C. Jenaplanschool Zonnewereld and Basisschool Blink. For safety, the children wear reflective vests and we walk or cycle together to the BSO. Older children may, with parental consent, make their own way. Our large, natural garden invites exciting adventures: climbing, running, hiding and discovering. We also make grateful use of the school’s gym and sports field, so we can run a sports clinic every day or simply enjoy a game of football. If your child prefers something quieter, we also offer arts-and-crafts sessions, a cosy reading corner and joint cooking activities such as preparing a fresh salad. Through the Partou app we keep parents informed: a quick message that everything is fine, a photo of a successful sports day or a short update after snack time. We believe it is important that parents can follow along and feel involved. Each afternoon starts calmly with fruit and a drink. Afterwards the children decide for themselves whether to join an activity or enjoy free play. We work with age-specific groups so that activities match what children find both fun and challenging. We regularly organise outings to the local library or playground; the neighbourhood offers plenty of opportunities. In short, at BSO De Kameleon children experience a new adventure every day, close to home and school, in a safe and familiar environment.
