Wasko De Kameleon BSO

BSO De Kameleon is located at Noordersingel 1 in Papendrecht and is part of Wasko, a non-profit childcare organization that has been active in the Drechtsteden region for over 40 years. Our after-school care is directly connected to SBO De Kameleon, a regional school for children from the West-Alblasserwaard area. Because our pedagogical staff also work as teaching assistants at the school, they already know the children from the classroom, ensuring a smooth and familiar transition from school to childcare. We provide care for up to 20 children aged 4 to 12 years. After school, our focus is on relaxation, fun, and personal development. We organize daily engaging activities through DoenKids, an inspiring database full of creative and sporty ideas. These activities are tailored to different age groups and stimulate playfulness, social skills, and independence. Additionally, we offer sports lessons where children can move, collaborate, and discover new athletic skills. Our pedagogical staff work not only at the after-school care but also as teaching assistants at the school. This unique collaboration creates a warm, safe environment where children feel recognized and valued. We provide consistent structure and personal attention, allowing each child to develop into a happy, confident, and socially skilled individual. Parents choose BSO De Kameleon because of our small scale, familiar faces, and close cooperation with the school. We serve children from Papendrecht, Sliedrecht, and Alblasserdam. Through the Parent App, we keep parents informed of all their child's adventures, with photos, updates, and practical information. This way, parents always stay a little close, no matter where they are.
