De Kameleon

Welcome to De Kameleon Daycare, part of Kindcentrum de Kameleon in the heart of ’s-Hertogenbosch. We offer children aged 0 to 4 a safe, warm place where they can playfully discover who they are and what they can do. Our daycare works with horizontal groups: a separate baby group (0-2 years) and a toddler group (2-4 years), ensuring every age receives the space and attention it needs. Themes form the common thread in our daily activities. Each period we explore recognisable themes such as ‘the forest’, ‘animals’, ‘traffic’ or ‘the seasons’. Within these themes children can paint, sing, build, role-play and look at picture books. Every morning our oldest toddlers (3+) take part in De Speelstraat and Kleuterplein: a special programme where they play alongside kindergarten children. This gentle introduction to school life makes the eventual transition much smoother. Outdoor play is just as important as indoor activities. Our spacious, green garden invites running, climbing, sand-pit adventures and nature discovery. We regularly take short trips to the nearby park or playground, always in small groups with sufficient supervision. Safety and security are paramount: the entire building is fitted with an access-control system and every group has familiar, trusted faces. Pre-school education (VE) is not a separate programme here, but a natural part of the day. Language, numeracy, motor skills and social development are woven into games, songs and stories. We closely monitor each child’s progress and tailor activities accordingly. Children sleep in dedicated nap rooms with cots and beds; babies rest peacefully in cribs, toddlers snuggle down with their favourite soft toys. Parents only need to bring a sleeping bag. In short, at De Kameleon Daycare children grow up in a safe, stimulating environment where they can be themselves and discover their talents.
