De Hummeltjestrein B.V. is a small-scale daycare centre located at Stationsstraat 36 in the heart of Vleuten. Part of the KunstNest organisation, we offer places for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 at this location. Our name ‘de Hummeltjes’ refers to the very youngest in our care – babies and toddlers who are still discovering who they are and what the world has to offer. We work from a warm, homely atmosphere in which every child feels safe and seen. The group rooms are bright and spacious, with quiet sleeping corners, a cosy home corner and plenty of play materials that match the developmental stage of young children. Our pedagogical staff are ready with personal attention, a listening ear and the expertise needed to guide children safely and confidently through their first years of life. Because of our small scale, we know every child and every parent. We tailor the daily schedule to the natural rhythms of sleeping, eating and playing, taking individual wishes and needs into account. In this way we offer the peace and structure that young children need to develop optimally. Outdoors there is also plenty of space to move and explore in our secure garden. In short: at De Hummeltjestrein children find a second home where they are cared for with love and expertise.
