De Hummelhof

Welcome to De Hummelhof, our daycare located in the heart of Voorschoten. We provide childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years in a charming building at Johan Willem Frisolaan 16, within walking distance of the station and town center. Our location offers 59 childcare places divided into horizontal groups: HummelHof (0-2 years) and HummelBos (0-2 years). This structure ensures peace and stability, tailored to your child's developmental stage. Each group has its own room with sleeping facilities and age-appropriate materials. Our large, natural garden is a true playground where children play and discover every day. The youngest have their own baby garden, and the toddler groups have a separate toddler garden. Indoors, we offer engaging corners like a construction corner, home corner and reading corner. We work thematically around topics such as seasons, animals and family. We provide healthy meals: a warm lunch, bread meal and fruit. Does your child have allergies? Our pedagogical staff take this into account. For babies, we provide bottle feeding according to parents' schedules. Children sleep in their own beds that are changed weekly. We align sleep rhythms with home routines, where toddlers rest after lunch. Our pedagogical staff are trained in the Norlandia vision and carefully follow each child's development. At De Hummelhof, we believe it's important that children feel safe and at home. We work with familiar faces and a homely atmosphere. Together with parents, we create a warm second home where your child can grow and flourish.
