Welcome to De Huiskamer, our active after-school care located in the heart of Katendrecht. We are situated in a beautiful, spacious building at the Kop van Katendrecht, where we provide daily care for up to 30 children aged 4 to 12 years. As part of KindeRdam Kinderopvang B.V., we guarantee quality childcare with the child at the center. At De Huiskamer, we believe that movement and sports are essential for healthy development. Therefore, we offer an active program where children can run, jump, play and discover after school. Our location is specially designed to challenge children physically, with ample space for both indoor and outdoor activities. We create an environment where children can freely develop, discover new skills and enjoy athletic challenges. Our pedagogical staff are ready to guide children in their sports activities and ensure that every child feels safe and secure. We work with a fixed group of children, creating a familiar and homely atmosphere. The name 'De Huiskamer' (The Living Room) was chosen deliberately - we want children to feel as at home here as in their own living room, but with extra space for adventure and movement. As an after-school care facility, we are specifically for children from 4 years old who already attend primary school. We provide care after school hours and during school holidays, ensuring the transition from school to after-school care goes as smoothly as possible. Our location at Walhallalaan 116 is easily accessible and located in a safe, child-friendly environment where parents can confidently bring their children.
