Welcome to daycare centre de 4 Heemskinderen, located at Heilig Hartstraat 6 in the centre of Etten-Leur. As part of Kober childcare, we offer a cosy, home-like setting for babies and toddlers in a compact, newly-built house. Our deliberately small scale keeps everything clear and ensures every child receives the attention they deserve. Discovery, play and growth are central to our approach. We use themes such as ‘Enjoy your meal’, ‘Giants and Gnomes’ and ‘Phew, it’s hot’ to stimulate language development and curiosity in a playful way. From making edible flowers on a rice cake to free play with loose parts like straws, pompoms and bottle caps – children are given every opportunity to be creative. Outdoor play is just as important: building sandcastles, climbing and exploring nature on the adjacent schoolyard are daily highlights. Our professional staff are experienced educators who know exactly what they are doing. Children can join us for breakfast every morning and during the day we provide warm meals, healthy snacks, fruit and plenty to drink. Nappies and care products are included, so parents can go to work worry-free. We offer early-years education (VE), so toddlers already practise words and numbers through play, making the transition to the neighbouring primary school De 4 Heemskinderen seamless. Via the Parent App we keep parents updated every day with a photo or a fun message. Our location is open from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and half-days are possible.
