De Harlekijn

Welcome to childcare centre De Harlekijn, located at Ruys de Beerenbroucklaan 3 in Gouda North. We are part of Stichting Quadrant Kindercentra and have been providing warm, professional childcare for children aged 0 to 4 since 2001. Our location is conveniently situated next to Thorbeckelaan and Bodegraafsestraatweg, making us easily accessible for parents. At De Harlekijn, we focus on the personal growth and development of every child. We work with horizontal groups, where babies, toddlers and preschoolers are grouped by age, providing peace and familiarity for the children. Our pedagogical staff closely monitor your child's development using the Early Childhood Education programme 'Doen, praten en bewegen' (Doing, talking and moving) by the CED Group. This stimulates speech and language development, social-emotional skills and motor skills. Each child has a designated First Responsible Pedagogical staff member (EVP'er) who specifically monitors their development and serves as the contact point for parents. We use a parent login on our website where you can read daily updates about your child. For babies, we appreciate receiving feeding schedules and sleep routines so we can maintain home rhythms as much as possible. Our location features safe, spacious indoor and outdoor areas where children can play, discover and grow. We regularly organise outings to the playground and library.
