BSO De Groene Draad

BSO De Groene Draad is part of Integral Child Centre Jan Ligthart, located in the De Groene Draad building at van Hogendorplaan 1021 in Vlaardingen. We provide after-school care for up to 110 children aged 4 to 13 years. Our location works closely with primary schools IKC Jan Ligthart, Jenaplan and Avonturijn, allowing children to stay in a familiar environment for play and learning. We operate based on four pillars: Science & Technology, Citizenship and society, Art & Culture and Sports & Games. Our activities align seamlessly with these themes. Children can engage in crafts, drama, sports and games, or join us on excursions to theaters, museums or the cinema. During school holidays we are open all day and organize an extensive holiday program. We follow the principles of the Peaceful School and believe it's important that children can choose which activities they want to participate in. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:30. During holidays and study days, care is available from 07:30 to 18:30, except on Good Friday and the day after Ascension when we open at 07:00. We use the Konnect app to keep parents informed with photos, activities and important information. Parents can also use this app to request additional care days and view holiday schedules.
