De Emmakroskes

Welcome to toddler care De Emmakröskes, located on the same grounds as primary school De Emma at Vredenseweg 170 in Winterswijk-Henxel. Our location has a maximum capacity of 16 places and has been officially registered since 15 August 2011. We are proud holders of the quality label “Green Childcare” awarded by the Green Cement foundation. Our green toddler care is set in a beautiful rural landscape of meadows, hedgerows, woods, farms and livestock. The natural outdoor play area offers plenty of wood and greenery, a water pump, a wigwam, an outdoor classroom, a sandpit with outdoor kitchen and an animal corner with chickens, doves and rabbits. We have our own vegetable garden and regularly venture into the nearby forest. This environment gives toddlers peace and space to explore and grow. Inside, the space is furnished with natural materials, a discovery corner, plants on the windowsill and animals. Depending on the current theme we adapt the layout so that the environment always connects with the children’s world of experience. We work with horizontal groups for children aged 2 to 4 and provide care on Monday and Thursday from 08:00 to 13:00. Feel free to come and have a look if your toddler also loves being outdoors!
