Welcome to Daycare Droomstad, located at Oude Binnenweg 34 in the heart of Rotterdam. We are proud to be part of Humankind, a national organization with over 500 locations dedicated to the optimal growth and development of every child. Our location has been active since September 15, 2021, offering small-scale, professional care for up to 84 children aged 0 to 4 years. At Droomstad, we work from a clear pedagogical vision: every child is allowed and able to do a lot, naturally within safe boundaries. We challenge children to experience, discover, decide and make mistakes themselves. This way they learn playfully who they are and what they can do. Our qualified pedagogical staff provide a warm, safe and familiar environment where every child feels at home. We work with fixed daily routines that match your child's developmental stage. For the youngest ones, we maintain the sleep and feeding schedule from home, while toddlers participate in our fixed daily routine. Our activities are specially designed to stimulate the development of young children. We sing together daily, offer music and toddler dance lessons, and craft with various materials. Reading aloud is part of our fixed daily routine, as is playing outside together in our safe garden or during trips to the park. We pay a lot of attention to language development and prepare toddlers playfully for primary school. Birthdays are celebrated exuberantly with garlands, music and a gift for the birthday boy or girl. For your child's care, we provide a healthy and varied lunch, fresh fruit and snacks. We take allergies and special dietary requirements into account. For babies, we offer bottle feeding according to the home schedule. Our location features safe sleeping areas with individual beds, a protected playground and a secure entrance. Parents receive daily detailed reports via our parent portal with photos, stories and information about eating and sleeping. Daycare Droomstad is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM. We offer flexible childcare options, including half days. Our central location makes us ideal for working parents in downtown Rotterdam.
