Welcome to Peuteropvang KiekeBos, located at Overschiese Kleiweg 519 in Rotterdam. As part of Humankind, we provide toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 years. Our location is situated in the woods, next to care home Stadzicht, and we spend time outdoors with the children every day. At KiekeBos, we believe that whatever can be done indoors can also be done outdoors! Our experienced pedagogical staff guide children in learning language, early math skills, motor skills, and social-emotional abilities through play. This forms an excellent preparation for primary school. We work with themes that connect to the world of toddlers and make extensive use of the natural environment. A special part of our program is the collaboration with care home Stadzicht. We regularly visit the residents with the toddlers to dance and sing together. Residents also come to us under supervision, for example to read aloud. These encounters are valuable for both the children and the residents. Our location is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. We offer half-day care, where children play and learn in the morning. The groups are horizontally structured, with children of the same age playing and learning together.
