BSO Het Ontdekkingsbos

PSO Het Ontdekkingsbos is an after-school care facility (BSO) located in the green park at Overschiese Kleiweg 519 in Rotterdam. We provide care for up to 20 children aged 4 to 13 years. Our location, together with BSO Het Droomwoud, is situated in a beautiful forested area, allowing children to play and discover outdoors extensively. We pick up children after school from Park 16hoven primary school. Our pedagogical staff guide the children from school to the BSO, where they can first unwind from their school day. Afterwards, they can participate in various activities in our spacious outdoor area. The forest offers endless possibilities for natural discovery tours, building with natural materials, constructing huts, and simply enjoying outdoor play in the fresh air. Our vision is that children learn best by discovering and experiencing things themselves. At Het Ontdekkingsbos, we stimulate children's curiosity and allow them to safely explore their boundaries. We believe that outdoor play is not only healthy but also contributes to the development of creativity, cooperation, and self-confidence. In addition to daily after-school care, we also offer holiday care, where children can fully enjoy all the possibilities our forested location has to offer. Every day is different at Het Ontdekkingsbos, where adventure and discovery are central.
