KDV/POV Bij de Hand

Welcome to KDV/POV Bij de Hand, our small-scale daycare center in the heart of Pernis. We provide care for up to 64 children aged 0 to 4 years in a homely, safe environment where every child feels at home. As part of De Droomplaats Childcare, we work according to one clear vision: giving children opportunities to develop through play-based learning. We work with the Uk&Puk program, a recognized VVE program (Early Childhood Education) specially developed for children aged 0 to 4 years. This program stimulates language development, social skills and general development of young children in a playful way. Our pedagogical staff are specially trained to implement this program and tailor activities to the individual needs and developmental stage of each child. Our location at Overhandstraat 19 is specially designed for the youngest children. We have separate sleeping rooms where babies and toddlers can sleep peacefully, a safe outdoor play area tailored to young children, and spacious, bright group rooms where children can play and discover. We use horizontal groups, with babies, toddlers and preschoolers cared for in age groups. For the youngest ones, we take care of everything: from diapers and bottle feeding to care products and their own sleeping place. We work closely with parents to adapt care and nutrition to the wishes and needs of each child. For toddlers, we offer structured activities in addition to care that match their developmental stage, such as reading moments, singing, dancing and creative activities. At KDV/POV Bij de Hand, we believe it's important that children can grow up in a familiar environment. We have a permanent team of pedagogical staff who know and understand your child well. We take time for each child and provide a warm, secure atmosphere where children feel safe to explore and learn. We offer flexible childcare options, from half days to full days, tailored to parents' needs. Our daycare center is officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 411241138 and meets all legal requirements and quality standards.
