BSO De Cirkel

BSO De Cirkel is part of Kindcentrum De Cirkel and is located at Brittenburg 50 in the Plaswijck district of Gouda. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 who attend De Cirkel primary school. Our childcare is located within the school building, so children can go straight to a familiar place after school. When children arrive, they are always given something to drink and eat. This is a nice moment to unwind from the school day and share what they have experienced. Then they can choose to play together, relax alone or take part in activities. We work with a different theme each month. The activities are linked to this theme and we take the age and interests of the children into account. During school holidays we are open all day and adapt the programme to give it a holiday feel. Our after-school care has two spacious rooms that are furnished like a home. We have access to two school playgrounds and an outdoor area where children can play to their heart's content. The cooperation with De Cirkel primary school is excellent, making the transition from school to childcare smooth. We work according to the Pedagogical Heart of Kind&Co Ludens. This means we give children space to be themselves, discover and grow. We believe that play is learning and provide a rich environment with challenging materials. Together we form a small community where we care for each other.
