De Buurtkabouters

Welcome to De Buurtkabouters, located at Wachtelenbergweg 23 in the Hoge Weerd district of Epe. Our daycare center is housed in MFC Kleurrijk, a modern and child-friendly center where we collaborate with primary school W.G. van der Hulst and Hoge Weerdschool. Since July 21, 2015, we have been officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 343971604 and provide care for up to 16 children. At De Buurtkabouters, we specifically focus on children aged 2 to 4 years, using a horizontal group structure. This means children are grouped by age, promoting development and interaction among peers. We offer both daycare and preschool care, with half-day options available. Our location features a natural outdoor playground where children can freely play and explore. Our pedagogical policy is aimed at stimulating the broad development of children through play, themes, and activities. We work with early childhood education (VE), utilizing creative themes such as "We are artists." During these themes, children explore and discover the world around them in a playful manner. We believe it's important for children to feel safe and secure so they can develop optimally. Our opening hours are extensive, from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM, allowing parents to use our services flexibly. We value collaboration with parents and are open to consultation and coordination. At De Buurtkabouters, fun in play and learning is central, giving children the space to be themselves and grow in a familiar environment.
