De Buitelbam

Peuteropvang De Buitelbam is located on the premises of primary school OBS Het Rastholt at Tilber 9 in the De Weide district of Hoogeveen. We provide a safe and familiar environment for toddlers aged approximately 2.5 to 4 years, where they can play, explore and develop under the guidance of a permanent, qualified teacher. This teacher is assisted by a second teacher or volunteer, ensuring plenty of personal attention at all times. Our toddler groups follow a fixed daily rhythm. Most children attend two linked half-days per week, allowing them to complete the full Uk & Puk programme. Children with an early childhood education (VE) indication are welcome four half-days per week. Our schedule follows the primary-school holiday calendar of the municipality of Hoogeveen; your contract therefore runs for forty weeks per year. We believe every child should be able to develop at his or her own pace. For this reason we also welcome toddlers who need a little extra time and attention. Our approach focuses on letting children acquire new skills through play and preparing them for primary school. We organise children in horizontal groups, so youngsters of the same age play and learn together.
