De Broekies

De Broekies is a small-scale, professional after-school care (BSO) located on an active dairy farm at De Dikte 1 in Dwingeloo. We provide care for children aged 4 to 12 years in a unique agricultural setting. Our grounds offer plenty of space to play, discover and grow, surrounded by nature and animals. Our BSO is part of the United Agricultural Childcare. This means that after school, children can come to a familiar, rural setting where they can decide for themselves what they want to do. There's always the opportunity to help out on the farm, play in the garden or simply relax in our cozy indoor space. We work with small groups, ensuring plenty of personal attention for each child. The animals on the farm – cows, chickens, rabbits and our farm dog – form an important part of the daily experience. Children learn in a playful way about farm life, seasonal rhythms and how to interact with animals and nature. Our pedagogical staff are ready to give the children a safe and challenging afternoon, with room for both active and quiet activities. We believe it's important that children can develop freely and choose what they want to do. The natural environment of the farm offers endless possibilities for this.
