De Bosuil

Daycare centre De Bosuil is part of KDV & BSO "De Bosuil" vof and is uniquely situated on the edge of the forest in Amerongen, right in the middle of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. We provide care for up to 16 children per day in one vertical group for children aged 0 to 4 years. Our location is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM. At De Bosuil, the child is always at the centre. We believe in high-quality and responsible childcare where respect for and development of the child are paramount. Our pedagogical vision is aimed at ensuring children feel safe and secure, allowing them to develop at their own pace. We work with familiar faces and maintain a comprehensive pedagogical policy plan that includes both organization-wide and location-specific principles. Our facility consists of one atmospheric main group room equipped with a baby corner featuring a playpen, various play areas such as a car corner and reading nook, and a changing area with an adjustable changing table. We have an indoor sleeping room with a view of outdoor cribs that are sheltered behind a fence. For the youngest children, a separate sleeping space is always available. The outdoor play area directly adjoins the group room and is fully enclosed. This natural play environment features a playhouse, hill slide, seesaw, and Little Tikes slide. We believe it's important for children to spend as much time outdoors as possible – even when it rains. Therefore, we provide raincoats and boots for all children. In our vegetable garden, children learn through play about vegetables, fruits, and the natural cycle of life. Our location is registered in the National Childcare Register under number 110543695 and is supervised by the GGD Utrecht region. We are proud of our recent inspection findings confirming that we meet all quality requirements regarding pedagogical climate, staff, and facilities.
