De Boomhut

Welcome to De Boomhut Daycare, located in a characteristic building at Volkerinksstraat 34 in the Rosarium district of Almelo. We are part of Stichting Humankind and provide professional childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years. At our facility, children flourish in a safe, homely environment where there's room for development, discovery and play. Our location features beautifully designed group spaces specifically arranged for babies and toddlers. We work with age groups so each developmental stage receives the right attention and care. The spacious outdoor playground offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor play and nature discovery. We believe it's important for children to be outside daily so they can enjoy fresh air and explore their natural surroundings. At De Boomhut, we believe children learn through play. Our pedagogical staff provide development-oriented activities that match the child's age and interests. We work from a warm, involved approach where every child feels safe and valued. Our childcare centers are a mini-society where children practice living and working together in a safe environment. We are open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. In addition to our regular childcare, we also provide care starting September 1st for children from the nursing daycare De Schavuiten. These children, aged 0 to 5 years, require nursing care and supervision. This includes children who need temporary nursing care after hospitalization, have chronic illnesses, or use tube feeding. At De Boomhut, your child's development is central. We offer a familiar place where your child enjoys coming and where you as a parent can bring your child with peace of mind.
