De Bonkelaar

Welcome to De Bonkelaar, our preschool facility located at Molenwijk 3 in Amsterdam North. We work closely with De Bonkelaar primary school and share the same building, ensuring a smooth and familiar transition from preschool to primary education. Our Peutercombi welcomes children aged 2 to 4 in a safe and stimulating environment where play, discovery and learning are central. We use horizontal grouping, placing children in age-specific groups. Our pedagogical staff take time to understand each child, tailoring themes to their interests and making these visible throughout the classroom. Children play both indoors and outdoors, with plenty of space to run, build, hide and explore. We offer both full-day and half-day care, giving parents the flexibility to choose what best suits their family. Our approach aligns seamlessly with that of the primary school, so children are already familiar with the setting and the people when they officially start at De Bonkelaar.
