Welcome to Kinderdagopvang De Boerderij! We are a unique daycare centre located in Amsterdam. Our daycare is housed under the same roof as a young cattle barn where the calves stay during winter. From the group rooms, children can look through a window at the cows in the barn. Kinderdagopvang De Boerderij is situated in a quiet, rural environment with a cosy atmosphere. Your child receives direct and personal attention. There is plenty of space to play in the healthy outdoor air, allowing children to freely discover, experiment and learn. Indoors we also have beautiful play areas. Interaction with animals is beneficial for a child's development and we are proud to offer this opportunity on our farm. Our farm includes cows, chickens, goats and rabbits. Kinderdagopvang de Boerderij is affiliated with VAK, the United Agricultural Childcare. This means we follow VAK's working methods and pedagogical vision with a green accent. The green accent has been specially developed for VAK childcare and focuses on the world of experience of children at an agricultural daycare. In addition, we work with the HKZ quality management system. Through registration in forms and acting according to the pedagogical policy plan, continuous quality improvement takes place within the entire organisation.
