De Boerderij

De Boerderij Daycare is located in a listed 1874 farmhouse at Bloemendaalseweg 46 in Gouda. Once a working farm, the building now provides a warm, rural setting for children aged 6 weeks to 4 years. The centre is operated by Stichting Kindercentrum De Schaapskooi. We run three groups: a horizontal baby group (0-2 yrs, max 9 children), a horizontal toddler group (2-4 yrs, max 14 children) and a vertical group (0-4 yrs, max 12 children). This mix allows us to offer both age-specific activities and close, family-style relationships. Our programme includes VVE (pre-school education) to foster language, numeracy and social skills. Surrounding meadows with grazing cattle give children daily contact with animals and nature. A covered hay-barn canopy lets them play outside in all weather. The large outdoor area invites running, exploring and cooperative play in the fresh air. Parents can book half or full days, from 1 to 5 days per week. Our qualified staff provide each child with the individual attention and care they need. Together we create a safe, stimulating environment where children learn and grow through play.
