De Bloementuin

Welcome to De Bloementuin Daycare, located at Kerkweg 225 in the heart of Heemskerk. We are a professional daycare centre and part of Kindcentrum St. Leonardus. On weekdays from 07:30 to 18:30, we provide care for up to 40 children aged 0 to 4 years, divided into two horizontal groups: De Lieveheersbeestjes and De Libellen. Each group has room for 12 children and is guided by at least two qualified pedagogical staff members. We believe every child is unique and deserves genuine attention and tailored care. That’s why we follow a clear daily routine that offers structure and predictability, helping children feel safe and secure. Our spaces are carefully designed as play-and-learn environments where children explore and develop through play. We serve a warm, healthy meal every day and provide bottle feeding and snacks appropriate to your child’s age and needs. At De Bloementuin, natural experience is central. We have a safe outdoor play area and regularly explore the nearby nature, such as the forest, together with the children. Themes change every six weeks and are adapted to both groups, ensuring activities match the children’s developmental stage. We also collaborate closely with St. Leonardus primary school, ensuring a smooth transition to kindergarten. We believe all children should be able to participate. That’s why children with additional care needs are warmly welcome. Our team is trained to provide appropriate support and works closely with parents and any care partners. We offer flexible care based on 6-hour sessions, with a minimum of 3 sessions per week recommended. Half-day care is also possible.
