De Bieënkorf

Welcome to Kindercentrum de Bieënkorf at Lange Slagen 31 in Wijhe. We provide daycare for children aged 0 to 4 in a homely, safe environment where fun and development go hand in hand. Our horizontal groups mean that babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers play and sleep separately, so every child receives the peace and stimuli suited to his or her age. We use the Early Childhood Education programme ‘Doe meer met BAS’. Through play we stimulate language, numeracy and social skills, so your child can start primary school with confidence. Our pedagogical staff offer a varied programme every day: singing and making music, arts and crafts, reading aloud in our reading corner, and exploring in the nature garden. We regularly make trips to the forest or the petting farm, because outdoor learning is just as important to us as indoor learning. For the very youngest we provide nappies, wipes and bottle feeding according to your wishes. Toddlers enjoy healthy bread meals and fresh fruit; taking allergies or dietary requirements into account is a matter of course for us. Every child has their own cot in a quiet bedroom; during the day we use the spacious garden with natural play equipment and a sandpit. Through our parent portal the team shares photos, videos and daily reports, so you can see what your child is doing. Short lines and personal contact are important to us: you are always welcome to drop in for a chat or extra explanation.
