Welcome to De Beestenboel Gasthuishof, our daycare centre at Straat 20 in the heart of Roermond. Since 2007 we have been proud, under the wings of De Beestenboel childcare, to offer the very youngest a warm second home. With room for up to 109 children aged 0 to 4, we create a safe environment every day in which play, discovery and growing up are central. Our location is housed in a charming, spacious and bright building that was completely renovated in May 2021. The layout is carefully tailored to the needs of babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers: separate bedrooms with cots, changing areas with all necessary care items and play areas that invite movement and imaginative play. Outdoors, children can also let off steam in our secure, green garden with sandpit, bikes and natural play areas. We work with horizontal age groups, so that each child receives the attention and stimuli appropriate to his or her stage of development. Our qualified pedagogical staff follow the ‘learning through play’ method: we offer fixed daily routines, songs, reading moments, crafts and sensory activities that stimulate language, motor skills and social skills. For the very youngest we use individual feeding and sleeping schedules; toddlers and pre-schoolers eat together at the table and take short trips to the playground or petting zoo to discover the wider world. Parents experience an open, personal approach with us. Every day you receive photos and short reports via a parent app, so you can share in your child’s progress. We believe it is important that you feel welcome: coffee is ready, questions are always open for discussion and together we ensure that your child goes home beaming.
