De Beemden

Welcome to Peuteropvang de Beemden, located at Apollopad 99 in Boxtel. Part of Kindertuin, our small-scale and homely location offers a warm place for toddlers aged 2 to 4. Our permanent staff celebrate every day together with the children. We start the morning together with the “good morning song”. Then we put on our jackets and boots to enjoy playing outside with friends. Together we relish the fresh air and the natural play area surrounding our building. Around noon we share fruit and sandwiches. The children are encouraged to spread their own bread, fostering independence in a playful way. Our puppet Puk is a familiar face; we use Puk in many activities to develop language, motor skills and social abilities. During the mornings we offer activities such as singing, arts and crafts and reading aloud. We deliberately focus on language development and pre-school skills so that the children are well prepared for primary school. We take photos and send stories about the day so parents can see how much fun their children are having. Peuteropvang de Beemden is open on Wednesday and Friday mornings from 8:30 to 11:30. We work with horizontal groups: children of the same age are together. This allows us to tailor activities to the developmental stage of the toddlers.
