De Basis

BSO De Basis is located in the centre of Zevenhuizen, on the premises of Kindcentrum De Zevenster. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. After school, children are welcome to come and play with us. We have plenty of space for children who love to explore and enjoy playing outdoors. The activities are very diverse: baking cookies, solving riddles, crafting, working with clay, discovering nature or taking a trip to the park or a farm – anything is possible at De Basis! Our pedagogical staff pick up the children at 2:00 PM from the schools in Zevenhuizen and Bakkeveen. Together we enjoy some fruit or a biscuit with a drink around 2:30 PM. Afterwards, there is time for free play, crafts or a game. At 4:00 PM we share a cracker together, followed by more free play until 6:00 PM. We try to play outside as much as possible. During school holidays we organise challenging day programmes and fun outings, such as to Flippies, Nienoord or a petting zoo. We also host an annual get-together for all children attending our after-school care. We believe healthy nutrition is important and offer the children a varied selection. Parents provide their own food in case of dietary requirements. Birthdays are celebrated together with the child and the group. For extra care, please contact us.
