Welcome to childcare De Ark on the farm, located at Jonge Zevenhovenseweg 10A in Zevenhoven. We provide professional childcare in a unique setting: a real working farm. Children come into daily contact with animals and nature and are encouraged to explore on their own. All this under the guidance of qualified pedagogical staff and within a safe environment. Our daycare consists of a baby group for children aged 0 to 1.5 years and two vertical groups for children aged 1 to 4 years. The homely atmosphere is visible and tangible, which is important for children in this age category. On the baby group, baby specialists work who understand infant development and respond appropriately with tailored activities and approaches. The vertical groups offer a varied program of play, learning and rest, both indoors and outdoors. We are affiliated with the Agricultural Childcare Association (VAK) and stand for high-quality childcare in a natural, agricultural environment. Our location was newly built in 2018 according to the latest standards and equipped with solar panels. We offer preschool education (VVE) for toddlers aged 2-4 years using the 'Peuterpraat' program, through which we stimulate language skills and other developmental areas. Hygiene and safety are top priorities. We work with cleaning schedules and conduct an annual risk monitor. We provide almost all care and nutrition products, such as fruit, bread meals, snacks, drinks and diapers. All these products are included in the price. For formula feeding, we ask parents to provide the correct amounts themselves. De Ark values norms and values from the Bible: respect and care are central. We pray and give thanks for meals, read from a children's Bible and sing Christian songs. Every child is welcome, regardless of background. We find contact between parents and staff very important. Daily, we take time to discuss your child's experiences with you.
