De Ark

Welcome to De Ark, our daycare centre located at Erve Medenboer 2 in Oldenzaal. We provide childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years in a homely and safe environment. Our centre is situated in the heart of the neighbourhood, easily accessible and with ample parking facilities. At De Ark we work with horizontal groups. The youngest children (0-2 years) are placed in the ‘Piraat’ and ‘Matroos’ groups, while the toddler groups (2-4 years) are called ‘Zeerover’ and ‘Schipper’. This allows us to offer tailored care and activities that match your child’s developmental stage. Our outdoor area has recently been renovated and is fully enclosed. Children can enjoy cycling, climbing and clambering on the play equipment with slide, or get creative in the sandbox. We have a separate, safe outdoor space for babies. We regularly organise outings: we take walks through the neighbourhood, visit the petting zoo or go to the Hulsbeek when the weather is nice. We also participate in national events such as the National Reading Aloud Days, Baking Day, Mud Day and King’s Games. Our bilingual childcare staff speak both Dutch and English, allowing your child to become familiar with a second language from an early age through play. We serve organic meals and pay great attention to healthy nutrition. Your child will have the space to develop safely and securely with us, while we provide care tailored to their needs.
