De Ark BSO

BSO de Ark is located in primary school de Ark, on the border of Heemskerk and Beverwijk. We are a cozy location with a fixed team of three staff members who care for a maximum of 36 children every school day. Our BSO is specifically designed for children from primary school de Ark and primary school de Vlinder. Our group spaces are arranged with different corners where children can play freely, build, or read. We make full use of all facilities the school offers: the gymnasium for sports activities, the technology room for creative and technical projects, the extensive schoolyard for outdoor play, and the library for quiet moments with a book. At de Ark, 'doing things together' is central. We undertake many activities together, such as cooking together, playing an exciting board game, or a sports activity in the gym. Our pedagogical staff guide the children in their development and ensure a warm, safe environment where every child feels at home. Our care hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 14:30 to 18:30. We work with a fixed team so that children see familiar faces and can build a close bond with our staff. Our goal is to make every afternoon a pleasant time where children can relax, play, and learn new things.
