De Adelaars

BSO De Adelaars is located in a unique spot: right inside sports club De Alphians on Amerikalaan in Alphen aan den Rijn. We are an after-school care facility for children from 7 years old, offering plenty of space to play sports, be active and relax. Our location features its own chill room, a sports hall and extensive outdoor play areas. We spend a lot of time outside for sports and games on the fields of De Alphians. Indoors, children can do crafts, cook or take part in creative workshops. And when they just want to take it easy, there's always room to simply relax. Children who are allowed to travel independently come straight to De Adelaars after school. For children who need supervision, we start at BSO De Verrekijker on Vroonhoevelaan. From there, we walk or cycle together with a pedagogical staff member to De Adelaars. We are open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 14:00 to 18:30. During school holidays, we combine De Adelaars and De Verrekijker, making optimal use of both locations. Our pedagogical staff pick up children from nearby primary schools. For schools that are further away, we use our own (bike) buses or work with a taxi company. This ensures every child arrives safely and on time. At 17:35, a shuttle service departs to De Verrekijker, convenient for families with children at both locations. We believe it's important that children feel free to choose what they want to do. Whether they want to burn off energy on the sports field, get creative in the workshop space, or just relax in the chill corner - it's all possible.
