Dandéliondagopvang

Welcome to the after-school care (BSO) of Dandélion dagopvang, located on farm Midden Horst at Horsterweg 26 in Stoutenburg. Our BSO is part of the small-scale childcare that Jacqueline Breedveld and Ben Huppelschoten founded in 2012 with great dedication. The farm sits on more than one hectare of private land, nestled between nature reserve De Schammer and the village centre of Stoutenburg, and offers children aged 4 to 12 a safe, challenging place to develop freely after school. Every weekday at 14:00 our staff wait at the local primary schools. Younger children are brought to the farm by cargo bike, older children cycle along. Movement and outdoor play are our priorities: there are no screens or televisions, but plenty of room for lighting campfires, go-karting, caring for ponies, making blackberry jam or simply romping in the meadow. We have a large garden, a vegetable plot, our own food forest and, of course, our animals. Throughout the year we follow the rhythm of the seasons, with the children helping to shape the afternoon. During school holidays we run a varied programme full of fun activities and outings. We collect the children, provide a healthy bread meal and offer care until 18:00. We are also open on study days and pre-school free days from 08:30 to 18:00. Thanks to our small scale we know every child and their parents personally; connection and togetherness are central. Every child is welcome to be themselves, even when development follows a different path. We warmly invite you to come and see our farm.
