Located between the meadows and forests of Best and Oirschot, Dalton Kindcentrum AvontuurRijk at Montfortlaan 20 offers daycare (KDV) for children aged 0 to 4. We are part of the Stichting Katholiek Onderwijs De Beerzen (SKOBOS). In our bright, welcoming building with cosy corners for the little ones and a large green outdoor area, we provide childcare based on Dalton principles. We believe children need space to discover who they are and what they can do. Guided by the Dalton pillars—freedom & responsibility, collaboration, independence, effectiveness, reflection, and our own added pillar of ‘fearlessness’—our staff create individual task packages for each child that match their developmental stage, encouraging independent problem-solving. Inside, children can cook, bake, craft, and play with natural materials. Outside, there is plenty of room to run, explore, and grow in our safe, natural play environment. We offer horizontal groups, bringing children together in age-based groups. The transition from our daycare to primary school is smooth, as education and childcare work together on one site. Curious?
