Dak Van Merlen

Welcome to Dak Van Merlen, our small-scale daycare located in a stately residence at Van Merlenstraat 69 in the Regentessekwartier district of The Hague. We provide care for up to 19 children aged 0 to 4 years. The building is bright and atmospherically furnished with French doors opening to a lovely garden where children can play and explore to their heart's content. As part of Dak kindercentra, a social childcare organization active in The Hague, Voorburg and Rijswijk, we stand for equal opportunities for every child to have a good start. We work from a clear vision on development and put the development of children in their early years first. Our team of pedagogical staff provides a safe and familiar environment in which children can develop optimally. The location has been registered in the National Childcare Register since October 23, 2018 and is inspected annually by the GGD Haaglanden. During the last inspection on March 26, 2024, no deficiencies were found, of which we as a team are proud. We continue to strive to guarantee and improve the quality of our services wherever possible. We offer both full and half days of care, allowing parents to flexibly adjust to their working hours. Our small-scale setup ensures lots of personal attention and a homely atmosphere in which children quickly feel at home.
