Dak Sumatra

Dak Sumatra is an after-school care facility (BSO) located on the grounds of the Archipelschool at Sumatrastraat 140 in The Hague. Our location provides care for up to 37 children aged 4 to 12 years. Since January 1, 2010, we have been registered in the National Childcare Register under LRK number 157240770. Our BSO radiates a tough, scouting-like atmosphere where children are given the freedom to grow towards independence. Inside, game enthusiasts, Wii champions and PC puzzlers can fully immerse themselves in their favorite activities. Outside, a large natural playground awaits with cool tree houses and natural materials where adventurers can romp to their heart's content. Sporty children can expend their energy on our sports field or participate in korfball and tennis workshops. We regularly organize sports activities where children can discover and develop their talents. During school holidays, we provide holiday care with a challenging activity program. We are open all day so parents can also count on us during holidays. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from after school until 6:30 PM. Unit manager Miranda Bögememann describes our location as "a warm place where children can be themselves and grow in complete confidence".
