Welcome to Dak 2e Braam, our small-scale daycare center in the heart of the Valkenboskwartier in The Hague. We are proud to be part of Dak kindercentra, an organization with over 100 years of experience in childcare in the Haaglanden region. Our location at 2e Braamstraat 7 offers a homely environment where up to 31 children aged 0 to 4 years find a second home. At Dak 2e Braam, we believe that every child is unique and develops at their own pace. Our team of pedagogical professionals, led by Suzanne Rijswijk, ensures that each child receives the personal attention they deserve. We work with horizontal groups, where babies and toddlers are cared for in age groups. This allows us to fully align with your child's developmental needs. Our spaces are playfully furnished and inviting, but it's our large outdoor area that surprises children every day. Here they can let loose on the climbing frame, play in the sandbox, or cycle on the circuit. When the weather is nice, we make trips to the petting zoo, where children help care for the animals. These experiences contribute to their social and emotional development. We offer a wide range of activities tailored to the age and interests of the children. From creative workshops to sports and games, from making music to language development. Our pedagogical professionals encourage children to discover and develop their talents. We work with Early Childhood Education programs that support your child's development and prepare them for primary school. Our daycare center is open Monday through Friday from 07:30 to 18:00, giving you as a parent the flexibility to bring and pick up your child when it suits you. We understand that no day is the same, which is why we also offer half-day care. During school holidays, we have put together a special activity program so that your child can also enjoy challenging and fun activities. Through our Dak kindercentra app, we keep you informed of all the beautiful moments your child experiences with us. We love to share these magical moments with you so that you can stay involved in your child's development even during your workday.
