Cultuur BSO Het Zeeroversnest

Cultuur BSO Het Zeeroversnest is located at Bekkerveld 30 in Heerlen and is part of Stichting Humankind. We provide after-school care for up to 125 children aged 4 to 13. Our facility features spacious indoor and outdoor areas, giving children the freedom to be themselves and explore what truly interests them. We put the child at the center with their own ideas. In our studio, children create artworks; in the building corner, they construct with Lego or Knex; and in the doll corner, the youngest ones play with dolls and toy kitchens. Older children can retreat to the lounge area to chat or read a book. There is always room to play outside, build huts, or play football. Our pedagogical staff plan a variety of activities daily, such as crafting, making music, disco parties, and theatre performances. We stimulate children in all areas of development: motor, emotional, creative, and intellectual. However, the emphasis remains on free time: almost anything is allowed and nothing is mandatory. Children are given the freedom to choose what they participate in. We pick up children from the following primary schools: OBS De Klinker, OBS De Springplank, and OBS De Vuurvlinder. Our care is open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:30. Parents can request extra care or arrange flexible working hours through our parent app. We provide care during school weeks, holidays, and unexpected days off.
