Confetti

BSO Confetti is a cheerful after-school care facility located in the Oostgaarde district of Capelle aan den IJssel. We are situated at Dakotaweg 69 and provide care for up to 27 children aged 4 to 12 years. As part of gro-up, we form an integral children's center together with daycare Confetti and toddler care Peuterrijk. Our after-school care is a special place where children from different cultural backgrounds come together. This unique mix creates a rich learning environment where children learn from each other. We organize weekly sports activities, creative craft projects, and joint cooking sessions. These activities are aligned with the daycare's theme but always adapted to the age and interests of our after-school care children. During school holidays, our after-school care transforms into a real adventure! We work with cool themes such as 'Living like a celebrity', 'Light and dark', or 'Technology'. Each theme comes to life through an exciting story that runs like a red thread through the vacation. Children then go on trips: we visit museums, the library, or go shopping together at the market. These excursions are always under the supervision of our pedagogical staff. During holidays, we are open from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM. We highly value collaboration with schools. When there are concerns about a child, we always consult with the school. This is done only with parental consent. This ensures that parents, school, and after-school care are aligned in supporting the child. We work together with De Maaskei primary school and, where necessary, with special education schools.
