CompaNanny Ripperda III

A stone’s throw from Haarlem-Centraal station, on Sint Jorisveld, you will find CompaNanny Ripperda III. This after-school care centre is located on the historic grounds of the former Ripperda Cavalry Barracks. Three locations, including Ripperda III, are grouped around a large central lawn and together provide a safe and stimulating environment for 50 children aged 4–12. We run horizontal groups: Junior BSO (4–6 years) and BSO Club (7–12 years). Every day our qualified pedagogical staff organise sports and games on the lawn and in our spacious rooms. In the open kitchen children prepare their own healthy lunches and snacks, often trying out new recipes. We pick up children from Ter Cleeff, Vrije School Kleverpark, De Werkschuit and De Ark. During school holidays and study days the BSO is open all day. We arrange fun and educational trips to the forest, museums or playgrounds. All activities are tailored to each child’s developmental stage and are grounded in our mindful approach, fostering curiosity, cooperation and self-confidence. CompaNanny Ripperda III is open 52 weeks a year, Monday to Friday until 18:30. Regular BSO hours start at 14:00 on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, at 12:15 on Wednesday and at 12:00 on Friday.
