Welcome to CNS Kinderopvang dependance De Fontein, located at Papiermakerstraat 18 in Putten. We provide professional childcare for children aged 2 to 4 years in a safe, loving and familiar environment. Our location is part of Stichting Kinderopvang CNS Putten and is housed within primary school De Fontein, with whom we collaborate closely. At De Fontein, we follow a clear pedagogical policy focused on the broad development of young children. We work from a Christian perspective with attention and respect for each child's individuality. Our pedagogical staff provide emotional security, promote personal and social competence, and contribute to a positive self-image. We prepare toddlers for primary school through play by providing structure and teaching them to function in a group, develop independence and make contact with other children. We offer pre-school education (VE) according to the national program. This means we work specifically on language, numeracy, motor skills and social-emotional development. We use thematic teaching and provide activities such as reading in our library, creative activities and nature and outdoor experiences. We also occasionally organize excursions related to the theme, such as a visit to the farm. Parents receive prior notice and consent forms. Our location has its own group room and two outdoor areas: an inner courtyard at the school and our own outdoor space next to the daycare center. We have a maximum of 16 places and work with small groups to provide peace and overview. There is no sleeping at the location, so no sleeping facilities are available. We value good communication with parents. Each parent has a fixed mentor who has at least weekly contact during drop-off and pick-up. We offer a personal conversation annually and when transitioning to another group, a transfer conversation always takes place. We work with a parent portal where parents can request extra days and find information.
