Welcome to Christian Daycare Boaz in Giekerk! We are located at Rinia van Nautaweg 33 in the heart of Gytsjerk. At Boaz, we provide a safe, loving and homely environment for children aged 0-4. Our name Boaz means "In Him is strength", which is exactly what we stand for: raising children in an environment where God's love is central. Our small-scale daycare accommodates a maximum of 5 children in one vertical group. This means children of different ages play and learn together. We believe this setup stimulates the development of each child, where older children learn to care for the younger ones and the younger ones develop faster by following the example of the older children. At Boaz, we work from a clear Christian identity. Our daily activities are infused with Christian values. We sing Christian children's songs together, read Bible stories at child level and celebrate important Christian holidays such as Christmas and Easter. These activities are tailored to the young age of our children and always happen in a playful and understandable way. Play-based learning forms the basis of our approach. We offer creative activities such as crafting with simple materials, singing and making music with child-friendly instruments, and reading aloud from Bible stories and other picture books. Additionally, we pay much attention to language development by reading stories and stimulating communication between the children. We also regularly go outside to discover nature and learn about everything God has given us. Our professional team of pedagogical staff is ready to guide your child with heart and soul. We find it important that every child feels seen and loved. We listen to the individual needs of each child and tailor our guidance accordingly.
