Kibeo De Regenboog Zuid-Beijerland

Kibeo De Regenboog Zuid-Beijerland is our welcoming after-school care facility, located on the first floor of Christelijke Basisschool De Regenboog at Johan Berkstraat 35 in Zuid-Beijerland since October 2021. We provide care for up to 16 children aged 4 to 12. Our BSO is open before and after school on Monday and Tuesday, and after school on Thursday. After classes, the children walk upstairs together with a pedagogical staff member to a bright, homely room decorated in warm, soft colours and furnished with sustainable materials and toys. This creates a safe and familiar place where children feel at home right away. Our programme is built around the themed activity plan Doenkids. Each period we choose a new theme and link it to sports, games, nature and creative activities. Children are encouraged to have their say: would you like to play football on our spacious playground, get creative at the craft table with free materials, or curl up with a book in a quiet corner? Everything is possible. We regularly organise sports and games sessions and make full use of the school’s large gym and green playground. Our pedagogical staff ensure every afternoon offers a balance between letting off steam and relaxing when needed, fitting perfectly around a long school day.
