Christelijk dagverblijf 'de uitvinder'

De Uitvinder is a small-scale, Christian after-school care centre located right in the neighbourhood of Oss. We pick up children aged 4 to 12 from OBS Mettegeupel, Hertogin Johannaschool (location V), Pius X and De Korenaer. Our BSO has a homely atmosphere and is just a stone’s throw from a large playground on Asterstraat, which the children enjoy every day. An afternoon with us starts with a cosy snack and drink, followed by a Bible story and time for the children to share how their school day went. Then they choose: playing outside in the playground, being creative indoors or joining one of our excursions. We regularly visit the forest, the petting zoo, the deer park or Elckerlyc Playground in Oss – always with a well-filled picnic basket. Older, more independent children may – with parental consent – go to the playground on their own without a supervisor. We set clear agreements and check regularly to ensure everything is going well. This helps them learn responsibility in a safe way. At De Uitvinder we celebrate the Biblical holidays together, such as Christmas, Easter and Pentecost. We believe it is important that every child feels seen and valued, and that the meaning of faith remains central.
