Welcome to Christelijk Dagverblijf ‘de Uitvinder’, a warm and small-scale childcare centre located at Molenstraat 153 in the heart of Oss. We offer care for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our approach is rooted in safety, trust and personal attention. We work in one vertical group, where children of different ages play and learn together. This creates a homely atmosphere and supports social development. Our Christian identity is visible in everything we do. We actively celebrate biblical holidays such as Christmas, Easter and Pentecost. Every month, we open the ‘theme suitcase’, developed by our manager Karin Cauwels. This suitcase contains materials and activities based on a current theme, always linked to a Bible story. In this way, children learn about faith, values and norms through play. Creativity is highly valued. We offer more than just drawing or crafting – children also enjoy puppet theatre, drama games and group activities. We give children space to explore and create at their own level. Our staff guide them with passion and patience. We provide fruit, lunch and dairy products. For the youngest children, we ask parents to bring formula and any special dietary food, clearly labelled with the child’s name. Together, we create a safe and familiar environment. We are open Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with occasional extension by half an hour. We believe children should feel at home with us. That’s why we keep our setting small and homely.
