Koningskind Kinderopvang Zoetermeer Oosterheem

Welcome to Koningskind Childcare Zoetermeer Oosterheem, a Christian daycare centre in the youngest district of Zoetermeer. We provide care for 64 children aged 0 to 4 years in a homely and warm environment. Our team of pedagogical staff focuses on each individual child and uses specific materials to stimulate development in a pleasant way. We operate from a Christian foundation. This means we pray before meals, sing Christian songs and read Bible-related books. Of course, we also sing and read regular children's songs and stories. We believe every child is unique and possesses eight different 'knaps': language, maths, movement, music, social, self, nature and visual intelligence. These multiple intelligences form the basis of our pedagogical approach. Our spaces are thoughtfully and stylishly arranged in zones. Within each zone, our staff create accents that make children aware of environmental factors. We use sustainable materials to teach children to recognise value and how to handle it. There is more space per child than usual, contributing to calmness and room for development. A special feature of our location is the beautiful spacious rooftop terrace. This is the discovery and play area for the children, furnished with natural materials. Separate corners have been created for the different groups.
