Cbs De Bron

Welcome to the daycare of Kindcentrum De Bron in Nijensleek. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 in a homely, secure setting on the same premises as CBS De Bron. Our pedagogical staff work closely with the school’s teachers, so your child meets familiar faces from day one and we can offer a seamless transition from daycare to education. The group room is thoughtfully arranged so that babies, toddlers and preschoolers each have their own space. The youngest have a quiet corner with cribs and soft toys; curious toddlers can explore the construction area, home corner, reading nook and art studio. These distinct play zones allow children to play individually, in small groups or with the whole group without disturbing each other. We adapt materials to each child’s developmental level, enabling every child to discover the world at his or her own pace. Young children thrive on structure and rhythm. Therefore we follow the fixed daily routine of the preschool morning, including circle activities, songs and stories. This approach dovetails with the kindergarten groups at CBS De Bron and makes the eventual transition extra smooth. After the preschool morning the children enjoy bread and fruit together in their own group, followed by a rest period or an in-depth activity. In the afternoon children may nap in our separate sleep room or join activities linked to the weekly theme. For us, play equals learning. While playing, children practise language, numeracy, motor skills and social abilities. We use the Early Childhood Education programme Piramide, which focuses on language development, thinking skills and social-emotional growth. Our pedagogical staff carefully observe and record your child’s development and discuss progress with you regularly. Together we ensure that your child feels safe, happy and challenged to explore the world.
